The Wicklow Vikings are an active Over-35s team playing competitive social rugby fixtures throughout the year. Emphasis is on social, but there are a number of fixtures that bring out the team passion every year. The Fox cup is the season closer, featuring teams like the Silverbacks, Garda, Coolmine, DLSP and there’s the new season opener, the Wicklow RFC August 10s competition, which kicks off late August as a social blitz for all categories including vets teams. There’s an annual overseas tour and a fair bit of socialising throughout the year.
